Amanda Bassey.jpeg

Dr. Amanda Bassey

Clinical Director

Specialising in working with adults with learning disabilities, and adolescents with emotional/interpersonal challenges. She is skilled in working with neurodivergence such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). Dr. Bassey utilises therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). She also has further continuing professional development qualifications in Trauma and Relationship skills.

 

Dr. Bassey offers assessment work, individual and relationship therapy online and in Northampton.

Dr. Hauwa Onifade

Dr. Onifade is experienced in working with adolescent and adult clients. She provides assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use issues. She specialises in working with clients with experiences of trauma and adverse experiences, and working with neurodiverse populations.

 

Dr. Onifade utilises a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Dr. Onifade offers assessment work, individual work and couples work online.

Dr. Harriet Dymond

Dr. Harriet Dymond is a HCPC registered Forensic Psychologist with over 5 years of experience in applied and academic psychology. Alongside her A&F role, she is presently serving as Treatment Manager for The Aurora Project, under the Safer Living Foundation, and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham.

 

Clinically, Dr. Dymond has experience in secure and community settings, working with those across the lifespan who are involved in the criminal justice and mental health system. She has experience in assessment, intervention, consultancy and training for diverse audiences, and has conducted multiple assessments for the Court in her career. Her publications and research work centres around those with sexual interest in children; hoping to improve well-being and access to services for those who have and have not offended, and by default reducing/preventing sexual crimes against children.

Jo Sellors

I'm Jo, of Pennine VA Ltd, and I look after the admin for A&F Psychological Services. I can arrange your appointments, deal with invoicing, and am here to help with any queries you may have. On the occasions I take any annual leave, my colleague Jane looks after things, and is also on hand to help. We both have over 25 years in administrative roles, and enjoy helping your journey with A&F Psycholoical Services run smoothly.
