We are happy to support

We are skilled in working with neurodiversity such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). Our clinicians can also support you with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD and trauma.

About Us

A team of chartered psychologists, our clinicians are HCPC, BPS and ICO registered. We are experienced in working with adult and adolescent clients providing assessment and therapeutic intervention for various common psychological issues including depression, anxiety, phobias, and obsessive/compulsive problems. We also specialise in working with trauma, longer-term psychological difficulties, and emotional/interpersonal problems linked to adversities in childhood.

ADHD Diagnostic Assessments

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, which is usually diagnosed in childhood. However, sometimes symptoms can be missed leading to someone struggling with difficulties into adulthood. You may struggle with a combination of inattentiveness, hyperactivity and/or impulsiveness. Gold standard tools such as the DIVA, the Young DIVA and differential diagnostic tools are used to support or refute a possible diagnosis. We also offer post-diagnostic support.

Prior to booking in for an assessment, we suggest a 15 min free consultation to talk through your difficulties and what you are looking for as this will help us to guide you to the right service and provide some recommendations.

It is advisable to ensure that your GP accepts assessments from private consultants, as many clients do hope to access NHS treatment after diagnosis.

Please be aware that we cannot prescribe or manage medication for children under 18 at this service. We now have a medication titration partnership to support you to consider pharmaceutical options, alongside the environmental and therapeutic.

Therapy

We provide therapy and support to clients with or without a diagnosis. We can offer support to those that are experiencing stressors, or mental health difficulties such as: anxiety, low mood and depression, self-esteem, stress, OCD and trauma. We use a range of models and can adapt these to support the needs of the individual.

We are trained in a range of evidence-based therapeutic models including:
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT)
